Isengrim (FIN) was formed during fall 2004 by Thanatar and Wintry. Music was first inspired by few dark metal acts, but soon evolved into a harsh, individual and satanic black metal with a progressive touch. Few recordings were made without success, until summer 2007 when Mustan Jumalan Rukous EP (Prayers for the Black God) was recorded. With proper sounds and spirit of 90's Norwegian Black Metal, EP was a success and awakened interest that offered us opportunities to perform live.

In summer 2008 we recorded our latest piece of satanic art called "Kaaos ja Käärme" (Chaos and the Snake). Record contains five new songs, and our previous EP as a bonus. Intro called "Manifesti" (The Manifest) ended into Blood Ceremony film "Black Blooded Brides of Satan", which will be released worldwide on DVD. In a year 2009 expectations are high, as Isengrim is concentrating on performing live as much as possible and promoting our material.

We are looking forward to make a full-length debut under a proper record label. Stay wet for more proud Finnish Black Metal!
